Business Philosophy

As is the case with all successful business entities, Saguaro Systems is in business to offer a service to its Clients, and thereby make a profit.  To this end, Saguaro Systems has developed the following Mission Statement and Pricing Strategy.

 Mission Statement

Saguaro Systems will provide precise and economical Electronic Design Services to Clients with 100% customer satisfaction during the entire Design Cycle.  All designs will completely meet or exceed their specifications and will operate flawlessly in the client's intended application.

Pricing Strategy

Hourly - Projects, which are undefined or exploratory in nature, can be priced at an hourly rate for time expended on the project.  Domestic travel time is not charged.  All other travel related expenses are charged to the client. 

Estimates - Estimates can be  provided for those projects that do not have a detailed specification or Statement of Work.  This often occurs when a program is in its  beginning stages or is waiting for inputs from other sources.  In this case, an estimate is provided based on the best information available.  As the project progresses, this Estimate can be updated.  If the Client wishes and a firm specification can be generated, the project can migrate to a Fixed Price Model. 

Specification Generation - If a client has a general idea of what is to be accomplished, but not a detailed specification, Saguaro Systems can provide a fixed price for a Specification Generation Task.  The resulting Specification will have sufficient detail to provide a fixed price for the follow-on development project.

Fixed Price - When the requirements of the project are clearly defined and specified, Saguaro Systems can provide the client with a fixed price quotation which will specify price, development time, and deliverables.  To be clearly defined means having a detailed Specification or Statement of Work which outlines each and every characteristic of the project and what the final acceptance criteria will be.
